OK, i really love halloween.
for me it is mystery, scary, and pretend mixed in one holiday.
pranks don't happen as much as they use to, but i think we all had participated in one or two in our day. wondering what pranks you may have played on halloween and if you got caught, what happened? men also. have a feeling some of our S/Os were naughty pranksters.
a small town years ago, nothing more than a stop sign outside of columbus. we decided to bombard the police cruiser parked in the center of this town with a officer sitting in it. about 20 of us, ran up and proceeded to egg and shaving cream this car. the cop, i think was so shocked at us kids doing this he hessitated getting out, but when he did, he never had a chance to catch a single one of us.
see Fred, i've been picking on cops for a long time. hard to break old habits.(giggle)

margarita, I just learned something I didn't know about Shandy.... She loves Halloween!! Not just LIKES it, but LOVES it. In fact, she is totally upset with this town because we had trick or treat before she got here, and she still wants to hand out candy to the kiddies!!!! She has been pouting all over the place! And is threatening all sorts of things for Halloween... I am seriously thinking of taking her someplace she would consider "normal" and letting her pass out candy on the street!!!! lol

joannie is just having way too much fun..and telling tales too..I was upset that they had halloween 3 days early..now what kind of logic is this?Somebody tell me?pouts....wednesday is not going to be a fun day for this girl.I might have to have a halloween party to cheer up.
*wispers*...and toilet paper Lar's truck or something..heehee..and sis will help,as i then can blame her,grins!!(also..quess what i found out)..joannie has a candy stash..in her computer desk,(bad for her gout).."OH Larrrr!!";)

As for halloween, over here it's not an event as such we might get the odd few kids Trick or Treating but thats about it. Going back a bit, there is only one occasion that I can think of when a few friends and I knocked at a door and we were welcomed with a bucket of cold water from the upstairs window! We returned his kindness with a few eggs thrown at the other windows!

On Halloween I never did anything wrong...ever.....honest
But I did TP a few houses in my youth.
Got alot of speeding tickits. I never understood what that funny sign with the number was for.
Did not get my car tags renewed once and got a ticket.....dit not pay the thicket.....did not go to court to pay the ticket. Some very cute officer came to my door early on sunday morning to take me.....out on a date? You all know better yes I was put in jail until I made bail.
Now I ask ya why if the cops have so much to do they would bother with sweet little me?
Why did he show up early on a Sunday....I had a hangover from the night before don't ya know.
But the most trouble I got into was on St. Pat's day. In my town we have a parade in the morning. A friend and I whent to it with a milk jug full of yellow fevers. Later some guys got us something to put in our cokes. I have no idea what it was but they got it at the liquor store.
Needless to say later I was very drunk and passed out on my friends bed. When I awoke I drove home. It was dark now so I figured I was not drunk anymore. So to help with this I opened a can of beer from my cooler in the back seat. To this day I have no idea where that cooler came from.
I was almost home, my friends house was an hour away from mine, I heard the siren from a cop car behind me. I pulled over and was told he had been following me for 11 blocks with his lights on. Cute lights I thought but I never saw them. He did what most cops do in this situation and after I explained I was almost home and was going to bed he let me GO! I think he followed to make sure I was going home.LOL
Let me see:
Driving under the influence (I was under age to)
Open container in the car.
Failer to stop for the cop.
wow I am glad he let me go home my Mother would have killed me.

pins in doorbells..eggs on chairs placed under the table..exlax brownies(my cousins prank)tabasco coke(invented well before Dr.Pepper,lol..)
Now that i am such a good girl..wouldn't think of pulling these pranks..except in a town, where they messed up..
me seeing the kids in costume & trick or treating,pouts.

Well, now Shandy is in big trouble!!!!!! She just tapped on the window and stuck her tongue out at me because Lar threatened to spank me for something I haven't even done yet... (Well, actually, THAT is the problem... I haven't done it yet and I am supposed to.) Honestly.... I think she needs a spanking for teasing me, don't y'all?????

My daughter has done her house up great for Halloween - tho the spirit of Halloween is still very slowly developing here in Western Australia...
I love it too Shandy and taking my g/kids out tonight to go treat/tricking ...

Pat, please tell us about your Halloweens!!!!! Fred has us all curious now. Besides, Shandy needs a few "new" pranks to pull!!! I would never do anything like that, of course.
Oh, Fred, Shandy and I were well bonded BEFORE she got here... She is simply mentoring me in
bratting..... (She's in the shower, so I can post this without her seeing... Hehehehehehe)

Eww hate it when that happens. ((Callisto)) just bring halloween to class. Remember everyone at your class is missing out on a lil' of the halloween experience with ya...so bring some candy to share and wear something festive for the occasion! No reason to miss out on Halloween because of class...bring the holiday with ya!!! Sorry sometimes I go a little crazy on Halloween ...I think last Halloween I went as a witch to class cause I refused to miss out on the holiday fun. Still it did help to get others in the spirit of the holiday. I know it isnt the same but sometimes you just need to improvise. Ok no more affirmations back to haunting my house. Kelly |

I am breaking my own edict here:
But any one(person or persons to remain nameless)who teases about spankings that are being threatened should be in the running for BOTW.(And that includes you members of the Brat Pack!)
Must be because it is Halloween. And almost full moon too. I've never nominated ANYONE for brat of the week(except the Brat Pack, and they deserved it!). (sigh) Shame on me! WEG Blame it on the moon! Yeah that's it. LOL

I have never pulled any Halloween pranks, and Silvermane said he never did either as a child. (not sure if I buy that one) But I think one of my favorite Halloween memories was last year. I was all dressed up as a witch(me? the original angel? Well it is supposed to be a costume, right?)so I could hand out candy to all the kiddies. My friend took the kids out trick or treating and Bill had this great mask on, a wolf mask. A beautiful silver/gray fur on it too. We had the porch all decorated. Bales of straw, lots of carved jackolanterns, spider webs and spiders, a motion activated sound track on the door. We had a wooden bench on the porch. Silvermane had the mask on and a silvery gray sweat suit on. He sat/reclined on that bench all evening not moving.
Until some kid started to come towards him. He growled or barked at them. Most of them loved it, and all the parents did. There were a few that refused to come up to the door. And the real little ones he didn't move on. It was funny, though. And it was cold too. Some people will do almost anything for a joke.

No one will believe what I got him for his birthday. I'll let him tell you. You will all think I've cracked.
Our Halloween history is special. Most of my pranks have involved getting friends and family to help me set him up. And I always get spanked for it whatever it is. LOL.
If it's ok I don't think I can make them funny for you today, but I promise to try and maybe make a story out of one soon OK.

Che', I honestly didn't do "halloween pranks". It was strictly forbidden when I was a kid, and when Daddy said "NO", it meant no. Never tested him on this one. We did go trick or treating when I was little, and Daddy always took us, making sure we remembered to say "thank you".
Lar was not permitted to go trick or treating or any of that when he was a kid. (His mother strikes again...)
