ABCD Webmasters provides the Spankspot Forums at no cost, as a service to the spanking community. Our intent is to provide a place where anyone may start a forum devoted to the topic of spanking between consenting adults and operate it to his or her own satisfaction, as free from outside interference as possible. Our requirements are as follows and by submitting a user registration you agree to them:

1) No illegal content. This includes photographs of children or others who do not wish to have their likenesses reproduced in this forum. Many commercial sites allow a certain amount of "lifting" of their content without comment--as long as it is not sold or used on a pay site--and we have no problem with this. If anyone objects to the posting of any copyrighted material however, it will have to be removed.

2) No "outing" of individuals, that is to say, revealing identifying information about another member. This is illegal, and should this occur, we will cooperate fully with authorities by providing IP addresses, in order that the individual might be prosecuted. Along these same lines, we strongly discourage reproducing private e-mails without the consent of both the original sender and original recipient. Although we will not “officially ” prohibit this kind of behavior, it is in extremely poor taste and experience has shown that it invariably leads to severe long-term problems in the group. Furthermore, should the owners/operators of any of the individual forums prefer to make this a “bannable” offense, we will support this decision and that member may be denied access to that forum.

3) No spamming or promoting other spanking paysites.

4) Your registration must include a working E-mail address. We reserve the right to drop any member whose E-mail becomes inactive. ABCD Webmasters occasionally mails promotional (advertising) material to all SpankSpot members, containing information about updates on our paysites. We do not sell or give our list to other companies, nor do we promote any site that does not belong to us. By registering, you agree to receive such material and not consider it “spam.”

5). Material placed on this site may be reused by ABCD Webmasters on other sites for promotional or educational purposes.

6) The contents of a member’s post continues to belong to that member, and he may repost it elsewhere. However, no other post may be reproduced on other boards without the permission of the author. In addition, all posts become the property of ABCD Webmasters in perpetuity. We will not resell materials, nor we will use material in a paysite except as promotional materials. We do not remove posts of members for any reason except when posts violate our advertising, spamming, outing, illegal, or stolen content policies above.

It is the nature of forums and newsgroups that controversy is inevitable. We want these forums to represent entirely the wishes of their members, not those of ABCD Webmasters. Although we will drop in from time to time and participate in discussions, we intend to allow the moderators and owners to run their own forums; other than violations of the policies noted above, ABCD Webmasters will not interfere with their operation. The owners and moderators will be free to determine the philosophy of their own forums, the forum's name and what type of content is appropriate for posts. The forum owner has complete discretion as to the organization of topics, the titles of discussion threads and when to archive old posts. (Forum moderators may not, however, delete large amounts of material or move in to another site.) They will have the final say in all disputes between members and may include or ban whomever they desire, with complete freedom of action. Unless the safety of a member is at stake or illegal content posted, ABCD Webmasters will not intervene in any dispute or controversy.

Our Forum software has a useful tool for contacting other members privately. We encourage you to use it. Please be very cautious about giving any other information (including real E-mail address, phone number, etc.) to those who contact you. Since this is a free service, we have no way of verifying information from those who participate. Also, be aware that if three private messages from one member to another go unanswered, the sender is blocked from sending any more messages to that person. Therefore, the best way to handle unwanted private messages is simply to ignore them and not respond.

If you disagree with how a forum is operated, we would ask you discuss it with the owner or moderator(s). Our experience is that forums and newsgroups are in a constant state of flux--some coming, some going--and that even the better ones experience many periods of frantic activity as well as long periods of very little posting. If several individuals wish to leave a given group and start its own forum, we will be glad to assist you.

Above all, please remember that these forums are for entertainment purposes only. Participation should above all be fun. If at any point, a member finds that his participation has begun to be unpleasant or is causing unhappiness in his life, the best choice for all involved is for that member to take a break from the forum.

We will update this as we think of more things...Thanks, and enjoy your forum!
